Disclosure: I have entered into a Partnership with Bluehost, a leading web solutions service provider. The below ads and links are Affiliate links which mean, if you chose to purchase a plan through Bluehost, I will receive compensation. I am independently owned and the opinions expressed here are my own.
When I was approached by a Bluehost Specialist in regards to a partnership, I was honored. I remembered back to my very first experience of a self-hosted website and Bluehost was my provider. As someone who was very new to WordPress and shared hosting, Bluehost was very helpful in getting me started.
However, over the past few years, I’ve heard some downplay about Bluehost. It seemed to have started after EIG (Endurance International Group) purchased them. As we all know, individuals can have a different experience with any type of service. For instance, product reviews. What I may like, someone else might not. So we need to take reviews with a “grain of salt” and try it for ourselves.
Should Web Hosting Providers be Entitled to a Second Chance?
That is exactly what I’ve done. I’ve created a demo site with Bluehost and have been tweaking the “hay” out of it for the past few weeks. Amazingly enough, no issues. I’m also very pleased to see the improvements to the cPanel. It’s laid out very nicely and easy to navigate.
My demo website is VirtualBren.Com. Go ahead and check it out yourself. Navigate around a bit and see if you have any glitches. If you find some, please let me know.
The Sign Up process what very easy.
I selected my plan, Plus. You know me. I need to have many websites to play with, even if I don’t post often. 🙂
I transferred my VirtualBren.com domain, as it was only being redirected to here, BrendaPace.Net.
Completed my account information.
Choose my plan term and any other additional resources I wanted.
Of course, we need to complete our Billing information. Bluehost does want to get paid for the service they provide.
Voila! I was in! Extremely pain-free and I was finished in minutes!
You all know I love WordPress, and that doesn’t exclude WordPress.com. I even have a site there that I tinker around with!
Bluehost’s cPanel is awesome! Was very easy to navigate and find what I needed. Of course, I’m no virgin to a cPanel and like to be able to “play” in the File Manager, Park Domains, and Optimize my site. Very easily done!
So far, I’ve been very impressed. Mind you, y’all know I’m a HUGE fan of SiteGround and continue to recommend all my friends and clients to them. However, having the option to recommend a second web host solutions provider would be a Win-Win for me!
Now, Let’s Put the Icing on that Cake!
Bluehost is having a Fall Savings Blowout! BUT, it’s just for 48-hours!
You can get Web Hosting for $2.95/mo* (for 12, 24, or 36 months)
*Promotional pricing is for the first term only (new accounts). Regular rates apply upon renewal. Sale ends on September 27, 2016, at 11:59 PM (MT).
Seriously? You mean, I can have my website on shared web hosting for less than $40 for the first year? You must be joking!
But I’m not.
I think this plan is perfect timing for me, as I want to have another website or two to play with. So, at these prices, how can you resist?
The Deets are Above!
So when asked if you should give a web host provider a second chance, I would say depending on your previous experience with them. My answer for Bluehost, obviously, is Yes I would and I am! If you asked me about another web host provider that actually stole my money and provided nothing, Absolutely Not!
What Do You Have to Lose?
Bluehost offers a money back guarantee! They won’t credit your account, like GoDaddy, they will refund your money to you in the event you are unsatisfied.
